2024 Program Highlights
Historic Commissioners Fireside Chat
This session was a highlight of the 2024 conference in Tulsa, as we heard from Commissioner Scott Kipper, Nevada, Commissioner Glen Mulready, Oklahoma, and Commissioner Chlora Lindley-Myers, Missouri
2024 Special Event - Philbrook Museum
Formerly the home of oilman Waite Phillips, Villa Philbrook was given to the city of Tulsa and restored to preserve the grandeur of the 1920s. Philbrook exhibits more than 8,500 works of art and has 23 acres of exquisite English gardens.
We were proud to welcome Osage Native American, Yancey Red Corn, for a special cultural visit. Just returning from the Academy Awards red carpet, Yancey can't wait to meet all of the WRCIC attendees.
Yancey is best known for his work on the Emmy-nominated film, Killers of the Flower Moon (2023), and is an Osage Native American. Starring with Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Lily Gladstone and dubbed a new Martin Scorsese masterpiece.
2024 Keynote Speakers
The conference boasted an impressive lineup of speakers, including two notable keynote speakers: Oklahoma Commissioner Glen Mulready, who will kick off the conference on Day One. The organizers have added a second keynote for Day Two to the great lineup, Mike Breeze, author of "Beyond S.M.A.R.T., In Business, Success Happens from Achieving Goals, not just setting them." There will be an entry level session on Monday afternoon, Captives 101, which is designed for those who are new to, or considering a captive.
